![]() On November 21st in an amazing and intense back and forth contest, Robby Illuminati suffered a broken nose at the hands of then ACW Champion: Sicend. To make matters worse, the challenger ended up suffering the loss in that same contest as the champion. After the contest, Illuminati praised the champion as someone of integrity and someone that the children in the audience could look up to. It all seemed like a nice gesture of good sportsmanship from The Wild Sicilian. What followed later in the night was something that no one could have expected. One of Robby Illuminati's best friends; Ruckus won the Golden Ticket Ladder Match, which prompted both Robby and Sicend to hit the ring to congratulate him on a hard fought victory. Ruckus spoke to the crowd and mentioned to everyone that he was the man that trained Sicend to wrestling and in his own words, Sicend "exceeded all of his wildest expectations" and called the ACW Champion his best friend. Before he could continue, a confused Robby Illuminati interrupted Ruckus and said " I thought I was your best friend." While things looked to be getting heated between Ruckus and Illuminati, the event took a surprising turn when both men proceeded to attack the ACW Champion. Things became clear when Ruckus made the announcement to the referee that he was cashing in his Golden Ticket briefcase immediately. After another beat down, Ruckus pinned Sicend to win the ACW Championship. After the match, Illuminati proudly said "that's what best friends do for each other." For those who don't know, Ruckus and Robby Illuminati have been friends for a long time. The two, along with fellow ACW wrestler BLK JEEZ represent BLK OUT, a group that ran through Combat Zone Wrestling winning multiple tag team championships as well as the CZW World Heavyweight Championship. While the group has had success in other companies, up until November 21st that success has not been replicated in ACW. Ruckus and Robby Illuminati in the multiple championship opportunities that they been afforded could not capture a championship during their time in ACW up until November 21st. With Ruckus winning the Golden Ticket Ladder Match, Ruckus was guaranteed a title shot anytime, anyplace, anywhere. For the first time ever in ACW, BLK OUT was in the drivers seat. What is clear is this, Ruckus saw an opportunity and took advantage of it. What is unclear is Robby Illuminati's involvement in this whole process. After all, there were no indications of problems between Ruckus and Sicend at all until the very moment Ruckus cashed in his briefcase. Could Robby Illuminati have convinced Ruckus to cash in with his help after suffering the broken nose at the hands of Sicend? Or, was this the plan all along if Ruckus came out on top in the ladder match? Only time will tell. One thing is for sure, and that is that Sicend will get his rematch inside of a steel cage on December 12th. Ruckus is more than capable of retaining the ACW Championship on his own in an environment such as a cage match. Sicend is more than capable of regaining the championship in such an environment. Will Sicend be able to regain the championship he lost? The only way to find out is to be at Mt Hebron High School in Ellicott City, Maryland on December 12 as ACW Presents: 'Twas the Cage Fight before Christmas. Tickets are available right here at www.adrenalinewrestling.com. We look forward to seeing you all there.
