Career defining title defense for Sicend

It’s October once again. That means a few things for most of us. For some it means fall, which is a wonderful time of year if you live in Maryland. For others it means football season is back, which can be an almost religious experience for some. It means the baseball playoffs and the World Series. It also of course means Halloween, Trick or Treating and a plethora or scary movies will be broadcast on Television. However, this October the focus is on something different for the current ACW Heavyweight Champion. That something would be a career defining victory.
 
On October 17th, Sicend will defend his ACW Heavyweight Title against the ACW Light Heavyweight Champion Diaz and Ruckus in a Triple Threat Match. This without a doubt will be the Heavyweight Champion’s biggest title defense to date. Both of his opponents are highly decorated competitors, just like the Champion. Diaz is currently the longest reigning champion in Maryland Wrestling today, as his Light Heavyweight Championship is nearing the 3 year mark. Ruckus is one of the most successful wrestlers in Maryland Wrestling history, having competed all over the world and capturing numerous championships including the CZW World Heavyweight Championship. While Sicend has faced and defeated both competitors in the past, those victories have never come in a match where the stakes were so high. If that was not enough, the champion’s advantage will not be a factor in this match, as his opponents could win the title without pinning the champion or making him tap out due to triple threat rules.
 
With the champion’s advantage out of the equation, walking out of the Gotham Arena on October 17th with the ACW Heavyweight Championship still in his possession will be a difficult task to take on. If anyone can pull this off, it’s Sicend. Ever since he won the championship from Prodigy last December, he has been defying the odds over and over again. Everyone he has faced was predicted to defeat him, but he has proved those predictions wrong, time and time again. Now, here he is with the odds stacked against him yet again. This victory would not only defy the odds once again, but prove once and for all that his title reign was not a fluke.
