Since December of last year, Sicend has defended his championship against all comers. Most recently, he successfully defended his championship against Ruckus and the ACW Light Heavyweight Champion: Diaz in a Triple Threat match at Six Flags America. Following the contest, Ruckus petitioned ACW officials to grant him a one on one match for the title at an upcoming date. ACW officials quickly decided that the date would be November 7th in Frederick, MD.
"There is no better way to make a better first impression than with the match you are about to witness in Frederick on November 7th," said ACW Commissioner Mike Ratick. "This match is worth the price of admission alone. If you like fast-paced and high-flying contests, this is a match you do not want to miss," he later added.
Sicend has been a standout in Adrenaline Championship Wrestling since the organization's debut in 2009. A multi-time Light Heavyweight Champion, the man known as "Riot City's Most Wanted broke out of the Light Heavyweight pack when he won the 1st Annual King of Maryland Tournament before going on to become the ACW Heavyweight Champion, defeating the late Prodigy PTV in December of 2014.
Ruckus has been a Maryland Wrestling mainstay since his debut in pro wrestling in 1998. A former standout amateur wrestler in high school, he quickly made a name for himself in the professional wrestling in the Light Heavyweight ranks, winning Light Heavyweight and Cruiserweight Championships for many well-known companies around the world. Eventually, he conquered the Heavyweight ranks when he won the CZW World Heavyweight Championship 3 times.
