It’s July of 2016 and the man then known as “Pretty” Jimmy Dream was sitting backstage in Pittsburgh at Monday Night Raw. He’s scheduled for an appearance on the show to face Braun Strowman. For most in this position, this would be just a little exposure and experience on national tv before being relegated back to the independents. Wrestling as James Ellsworth on this particular night, he expected no more than just that. Little did he know, he was about to become an internet sensation.
In the course of the next year, he would go on a journey that very few could have predicted. Over the next year, a small kid from Glen Burnie, MD would go on to defeat the WWE Champion (in anon title bout) appear on Wrestlemania and travel the globe with that number one wrestling organization in the world. But eventually, all good things must come to an end. A week before thanksgiving, James Ellsworth was released by the WWE. While the sting of being released after a whirlwind year had to be rough, the positive to this is that a return to the independents can bring forth a career rejuvenation for “the man with two hands.” And what better place to start than the promotion where he made a name for himself, Adrenaline Championship Wrestling. What will James Ellsworth have to say in his first advertised appearance, post WWE? The only way to find out is to be there LIVE on February 16th at Michael’s 8th Ave. Get your tickets for the return to prominence for ACW. Click the link below for tickets. CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS
