![]() In ACW, two champions stand out from the rest. Not the ACW Heavyweight Champion Kindred who has held the title for over a year now. Not the ACW Tag Team Champions Pretty Ugly who are no doubt the most successful tag team in Maryland Wrestling history. It is the ACW Light Heavyweight Champion D!@z and the ACW Womens Champion Kacee Carlisle, both of whom will have held their respective championships come May 17th for 720 days. Yes, I said 720 days. That is not combined, but the actual length of each of their title reigns. Thats 1440 days combined, just 20 days shy of 4 years combined. A 720 day title reign is a major accomplishment for both competitors, especially in an area loaded with great wrestling talent like the state of Maryland. For D!@Z, 720 days is quite an accomplishment for a Light Heavyweight in the state of Maryland, home of some of the best in the country. CM Punk had one of the longest WWE title reigns in history, but it wasn't as long as the MexiKING's. Dean Ambrose, the longest reigning WWE US Champion in history did not have a longer title reign than the current ACW Light Heavyweight Champion. Rob Van Dam's historic ECW TV Championship reign was awesome, but not as long as the reign currently in play with D!@z. It hasnt been an easy one either for the champion, facing great talent like Shane Strickland, Blk Jeez, Chris Wylde, 2014 King of Maryland Skull, and many others. Quite the successful title reign that is STILL going strong. For Kacee Carlisle, 720 days as a Women's Champion is historic. Trish Stratus' longest WWE Women's Championship reign was 16 months, no where near as long as Kacee Carlisle's. 2014 WWE Hall of Famer Lita's longest reign as a Women's Champion was a little over 3 month. Kacee Carlisle's current title reign is 8 times longer than that. If that's not enough, Kacee Carlisle had a 462 day reign as NWA World Women's Championship in during her reign as ACW Women's Champion that is STILL going strong today. Kacee has come from humble beginnings as a manager at the beginning of the millennium to being one of the best female competitors in Professional Wrestling today. All accomplishments aside, Saturday night in Eldersburg, MD could be the end of both title reigns when Kacee Carlisle teams up with D!@z to take on Renee Michelle and Robbie Illuminati. If Renee or Robbie pin either one of their opponents, BOTH championships will change hands. That means one championship could change hands WITHOUT the champion getting pinned or being made to submit. The champions advantage has been somewhat limited in this unique matchup. The young newcomer Renee Michelle has been a top challenger to the championship since she arrived in ACW, but has not fared well against the more experienced competitor in Kacee Carlisle. Robbie Illuminati on the other hand, has a history with the ACW Light Heavyweight Champion D!@z, as the MexiKING retained his title against Illuminati at Twas the Cage Fight before Christmas on a technicality due to interference by Pat Anthony who ironically had the very same thing happen to him a month before in a match with D!@z. As you can see below, "The South Philionaire" was more than heated with the champion. This past weekend, we saw what happens when a team cannot function together in the Prodigy/Kindred vs Pretty Ugly match-up in Goldsboro. Kacee Carlisle and D!@z MUST be able to function as a team in order for the both of them to continue their respective championship reigns past the 720 day mark. If that doesn't happen, you could see Renee Michelle and Robbie Illuminati make history by ending the longest title reigns in ACW history. Will the champions make milestones or will the challengers make history? The only way to find out is to be there Satuday, May 17 at Liberty High School as Adrenaline Championship Wrestling presents: Chaos in Carroll County II. Come see the longest reigning champions in Maryland Wrestling today in action.Tickets are available online at www.btwtickets.com. Adrenaline Championship Wrestling: FEEL THE RUSH!!!
