ADRENALINE WRESTLING SPOTLIGHTS ACW NEWCOMER ADENA STEELE IN A RECENT INTERVIEW WITH MANAGEMENT…
ACW Management : How did you get started in wrestling? … Adena : I got started in wrestling by my best friend hearing about tryouts at a local training center and acting like she was interesting in it too, but really she was just tricking me into going because she knew my background of loving wrestling and fitness so she thought it would be perfect but knew I wouldn’t go alone probably… but I loved it right off the bat so her plan worked! ACW Management: How has the support from the ACW faithful made you feel thus far? Adena: I’ve been loving the crowd at the ACW shows, they’re always interacting and it’s been so much fun! ACW Management: You’ve had a few moments with BLKOUT member Robbie Illuminati at the last 2 shows, do you know what Robbie maybe be up to when it comes to interacting with you? What his intentions are maybe? Adena : I really don’t understand Robbie…. One minute he’s proposing then he’s about to punch me the next show? He’s already screwed me out of two matches so to put it nicely .. I’m not exactly fan of his. ACW Management: What are some of your goals here at ACW? Adena: My goals at ACW would be first off to take care of Robbie and the BLK OUT situation, and then be able to focus on whoever else is in front of me show everyone exactly who Adena Steele is.. uninterrupted finally. ACW Management: How would you like the scenario with Robbie Illuminati to end? And your thoughts on teaming with Sicend this Sunday in Pasadena Maryland against Robbie and Ellsworth? Adena: If we can have a match where BLK OUT doesn’t come in to interfere for once, and after all the things they’ve done to both of us by now we are more than ready to take out our frustrations in the ring and put them in their place finally!

While restrictions have been loosened in Maryland, the staging of live events and indoor gatherings are still prohibited due to the COVID19 pandemic. We had originally anticipated these unprecedented events only to last a month. It is very clear now that it is going to last longer.
Although we had originally planned to promote an event in Hagerstown Maryland this Friday night, May 22; we must regretfully postpone this event yet again. Anyone who purchased tickets to this event will have their tickets honored once a date is confirmed. We hope to have a better picture of when our return will take place once phase 2 of Governor Hogan’s reopening plan goes into effect. Rest assured, we WILL return once we are legally allowed to return. Our very first stop will be in Hagerstown, MD. Fans in the Hub City have been extremely loyal to Adrenaline Wrestling. We thank you for your continued support and we look forward to our return as soon as possible. We here at Adrenaline Championship Wrestling were really pushing hard to bring you our event tomorrow night, March 14th in Hagerstown Maryland. The fans, the building, and our talent/team were all on board with moving forward on having the event. Knowing what’s going on and the concerns with the Corona Virus, we were ready and able to take all the precautions needed, including going by the guidelines made by Maryland Governor Larry Hogan.
Below is a letter from The Maryland State Athletic Commission who felt that it might be safer for all involved not to have the event take place tomorrow evening in Hagerstown and furthermore canceling the event With that being said we have a make up Date already in place. The show will take place on May 22nd 2020 still featuring the same talent advertised including Kelly Kelly. All tickets purchased for March 14th will be honored on May 22nd. The building has limited seating and WILL sell out before May 22nd comes, but in the event you purchased a ticket for March 14th and cannot make May 22nd we will give you a refund. Billy Gunn and Austin Gun b. bLk out One year ago, the annual Reggie Rivers King of Maryland Tournament took place in Denton, MD with Ruckus defeating Diaz in the finals of the tournament. In non-tournament action Kindred would face ACW Champion Vic Ramon would put the belt on the line against Kindred, a former ACW Champion, who at the time was willing to do anything to get back to the top of the promotion. The former champion ultimately beat the ACW Champion with ring steps. The man known to ACW fans as the "Demon Vampire" would make one more appearance before leaving the promotion for an extended period of time.
"It was an absence that ultimately needed to happen," said Kindred in an interview with adrenalinewrestling.com. "I was upset with everything at the time and it showed. Winning the tournament the year before to ultimately coming up short in those ACW Championship opportunities was a tough pill to swallow. At the end of the day, I was pretty frustrated," he later added. A year has passed and it has been announced that Kindred will be returning to ACW to face a cornerstone of ACW in Sicend. While Kindred still awaits a shot at once again becoming ACW Champion, the former King of Maryland Tournament Winner understands the importance of his match with Sicend and the tournament itself. For those who don't know, Reggie Rivers aka Prodigy PTV is a former tag team partner with Kindred. It was important to him to make his return at this event. "This event has always been special to me. Honoring the career and life of Reggie is very important in my book. He was not only a great wrestler, but a great friend and the glue that held this locker room together. I wouldn't miss this event for anything" Witness the return of "The Demon Vampire" Kindred on June 1st at Michael's 8th Avenue as ACW presents the annual King of Maryland Tournament. Click on the EVENTS tab at the top of the page or click the link below for tickets. We hope to see you there as we honor the life of Reggie Rivers. A microphone is something that can make or break you in the wrestling business. If you have the gift of gab, you can get noticed quickly in the world of professional wrestling. A good wrestler's career can skyrocket if they're good on the microphone. With that being said, it's not ironic that one of the marquee match-ups on June 1st at the Reggie Rivers King of Maryland Tournament involves 3 of the most outspoken people in Professional Wrestling.
For the very first time, Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Scott Steiner will make his ACW debut at historic Michael's 8th Avenue in Glen Burnie, Maryland as he takes on BLK OUT's Rob Ziccardi with newly inducted WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett as the special guest referee. Considering the accomplishments all 3 men have had in their careers, Jarrett and Steiner on the worldwide level and Ziccardi on the independents, when we asked fans what they are most looking forward to on this event a surprising yet common answer that was given to us was "the promos that Steiner and Robbie have for this match." Trash talk and promos aside, the resumes of all 3 competitors involved are quite serious. Ziccardi, a CZW Hall of Famer is a multi-time CZW Tag Team Champion and one of the most recognizable performers in the history of the promotion. In addition, he is a founding member of BLK OUT, one of the most dominant groups in the history of CZW. He has been a mainstay in ACW for the past 6 years along with fellow BLK OUT member Ruckus. Steiner, also known to wrestling fans as Big Poppa Pump is one of the most decorated athletes in the history of professional wrestling. He has won the Tag Team Championship in the WWE, WCW, New Japan, and TNA. Most of those championships were won with his brother Rick as the Steiner Brothers. In addition, he is a former WCW TV Champion, United States Champion, and World Heavyweight Champion. Steiner is most notably known for his time in the NWO during the late 90's in WCW. Jarrett, the son of longtime Tennessee promoter Jerry Jarrett was recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in New Orleans, LA. Known to Wrestling fans as Double J, The Chosen One, and the King of the Mountain, is a former Tag Team and multi-time Intercontinental Champion in the WWE as well as a formed United States and World Heavyweight Champion in WCW. He is one of the founders of TNA/Impact Wrestling as well as a multi-time NWA/TNA World Heavyweight Champion. During his time in TNA Wrestling, he was one of the people responsible for bringing current WWE Champion AJ Styles to a national audience for the first time. Can one of the founding members of BLK OUT put the Genetic Freak down for the count? Or will Big Poppa Pump set Ziccardi down in the Steiner Recliner. How will Jeff Jarrett play a factor in this match? The only way to find out is to be there LIVE on June 1st as ACW presents the annual Reggie Rivers King of Maryland Tournament from Michael's 8th Avenue in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Click on the EVENTS tab at the top of the screen OR click the BUY TICKETS link at the bottom of the page. One way or another BE THERE for this great event. It’s July of 2016 and the man then known as “Pretty” Jimmy Dream was sitting backstage in Pittsburgh at Monday Night Raw. He’s scheduled for an appearance on the show to face Braun Strowman. For most in this position, this would be just a little exposure and experience on national tv before being relegated back to the independents. Wrestling as James Ellsworth on this particular night, he expected no more than just that. Little did he know, he was about to become an internet sensation.
In the course of the next year, he would go on a journey that very few could have predicted. Over the next year, a small kid from Glen Burnie, MD would go on to defeat the WWE Champion (in anon title bout) appear on Wrestlemania and travel the globe with that number one wrestling organization in the world. But eventually, all good things must come to an end. A week before thanksgiving, James Ellsworth was released by the WWE. While the sting of being released after a whirlwind year had to be rough, the positive to this is that a return to the independents can bring forth a career rejuvenation for “the man with two hands.” And what better place to start than the promotion where he made a name for himself, Adrenaline Championship Wrestling. What will James Ellsworth have to say in his first advertised appearance, post WWE? The only way to find out is to be there LIVE on February 16th at Michael’s 8th Ave. Get your tickets for the return to prominence for ACW. Click the link below for tickets. CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS |
